Original Plan: Hang out during the heat of the day then leave
as soon as the sun went down. What happened:
We slept in until about 2:00 p.m. Luckily, nobody in the house
got up early. I set up Wolf's Runner for 5 people as it was the
only vehicle present capable of holding more than 4. We then
went into Henderson for a tasty buffet. From there, we went to
see Tomb Raider and then headed back to our friend's place.
We called the folks that we were going to see on the way out
of Nevada and were convinced that we should go see the strip
since it'd changed so much since we were last there. While it
only took us 10 minutes to get to the strip, we spent nearly
3 hours there between a trip into the Bellagio, filling up the
gas tank, exploring the Luxor, and driving the strip both ways.
We did some videoing while cruising and took lots of pictures
in the Luxor. We got back and it was after 1:00 a.m
We were too tired to try to leave that night after all, so
we decided to stay the night again and head off early the next
day.
