Day two got off to a rocky start. After meeting two local
frinds from the Greater Salt Lake area, I found that Wolf's Runner
was leaking antifreeze, and badly. The culptrit was a small hose
in the back of the engine. After a few calls to local dealerships,
Manlove Toyota had time to fit me in immediately and had the
part in stock. So, after it was fixed up, a started off a little
late, but still determined.
I took I-15 south to US Route 6. From there I cut down to
I-70, after cresting a 7500 foot pass. I-70, after 60 miles of
no services, I was in Colorado. After some major passes (at 10,000
feet and 11,000 feet) and a few hundred miles, I made it to my
destination at a friend's near Boulder, CO around 12:00 midnight.
