I had spent several days before the trip preparing. I had
major service done to Wolf's Runner including A/C compressor
replacement, timing belt, new radiator, and a general tune up.
By the 7th, I was all packed and ready to go.
I started off around 1:15 p.m. PDT on Friday, June 8th. I
drove straight through to Utah, making only a few stops in Nevada
for gas and to let the dogs out. I arrived around 3 a.m. MDT
in Ogden UT. I stayed at a Best Rest hotel for the comfort of
me and my dogs. Amazingly enough, my Ricochet Wireless Modem
worked in Ogden and Salt Lake City, so I had Internet Access.
