Alarm: Alarm system installed. Provides keyless entry.
       
Center Console Custom built center console. This houses an extra interior light, the power inverter, the future RS9700 shock controller, accessory fuse block, 12v power outlets, and the CB. The Fire Extinguisher is mounted to the back left side of the console. See the construction pictures below.
       
Communications: President 2600 10m radio with chip upgrade for CB channels.
       
Climate Control: Air Conditioning and Heater. Nothing special about it.
       
Doors: Power Door Locks
       
Floor: Aftermarket carpeting from firewall to the back wall
       
Lighting: Stock Toyota light. Also can use the mirror lights on the sun visors for additional lighting Center Console has a forward facing light.
       
Power: 300 watt power inverter. See the Center Console for more details.
       
Roof: No insulation, no headliner.
       
Sound Deadening: Doors have Dynamat sound deadening installed with Dynamat Spray to hit all of the corners. The floor has Dynamat panels all over. The back wall has some Dynamat panels as well. The roof has had all insulatation removed and Dynamat Extreme installed. Foam has been sprayed into many areas in the walls and along the tops of the windows to add insulation and keep down noise. When sitting in the truck, talking sounds like you are in a studio.
       
Seating Sport SR5 bucket seats from an 88 pickup. Each seat has adjustable head rests. The driver's seat is 7 way adjustable.
       
Stereo: Clarion CD Player and AM/FM Cassette. Has built in equalizer with display. Phoenix Gold 350 Watt 4 channel amp / crossover is installed on the back wall. JL Audio 10" subwoofer is behind the seat. Boston 4" speakers are mounted in the stock speaker location and MB Quartz 6.5" Mid and tweeters are door mounted. A HP Omnibook 5700CTX laptop (Pentium 166 MMX, 128 Mb RAM, 3 Gb HD, 12" TFT XGA screen, Windows 95) is used and contains about 30 hours of music in MP3 format. It is connected to the stereo via a 1/8" stereo jack to tape cassette adapter. Music play for the laptop is controlled by a Palm IIIx with software designed to work through the cradle.
       
What's Inside:  Maps, manuals, Fire Extinguisher, basic medicine (allergy primarily), Kleenex, Flashlight, rags, extra fluids, jackets, water.

After installing the JP Eater, I found that I wanted to do something with the unused space between the seats. Also, with the CB mounted under the stereo (loosly fit, not actually attached), I found that I couldn't hear the internal speaker. Added to that was the fact that the A/C inverter was too much of a draw on the cigarette lighter plug, I needed more outlets, and wanted more light, and I came up with the center colsole project. All told, this project took a few days. Still to be completed is a tray in front of the JP Eater shifter and a cupholder or two.
