For Sale
I purchased this 2001 Toyota Camry LE on October 15th, 2000.
Since then I, have driven it almost 5600 miles (it had 24 miles
on the odometer when I purchased it). I have kept a complete
mileage log on
the vehicle. You can see what options it came with on the factory window sticker.
It has been completely trouble free since I purchased it.
Why are you selling it?
First, I just don't drive it. I bought it for a daily driver
into San Francisco, but found out quickly that there is no point
to driving a newer car into San Francisco if you don't want to
be hit or have it damaged. I recently bought a 88
4Runner that has lots of body protection via big bumpers
and nerf bars. This works out much better in SF. When I first
bought it, I was going to Palo Alto once a week. This car was
perfect for it because of the great gas mileage and how comfortable
it is. However, after the beginning of the year, I no longer
had to drive down there.
Second, I have dogs. My previous car was a station
wagon, and before that I had a hatch
back. Those worked fine for the dogs. I didn't plan on putting
my dogs in this car, and never did. However, that made its usefullness
for me minimal as I almost always like taking my dogs with me
on weekend trips.
Finally, all of my previous vehicles have had manual transmissions.
I thought I could make the change over to an automatic, but I
just don't like it. It is great for city driving, but I never
really used it for city driving. I have been driving manuals
in San Francisco for some time now, and it just doesn't bother
me.
How did it get damaged?
The small ding on the driver's side fender came from a door
of another car. The scratch on the rear left bumper must have
come from a neighborhood kid crashing into it. It wasn't there
a week ago. None of it is major.
Did you buy an extended waranty on it?
Yes. It has a 6 year, 75,000 mile bumper to bumper warranty.
How much do you want for it?
I would like someone to buy it for what I owe on it. Currently
that is aproximately $19,000.
How do I get ahold of you if I want to purchase it or look
at it?
Please call me.
